Dolby® Digital (AC-3 5.1) - on Vu! 

Create the ultimate home theatre with Dolby® Digital* AC-3 when you choose our model 4100 or with the PVR models 5900 or 9200. Watch on selected Vu! channels, and as provided by broadcasters, you can enhance your Surround Sound system with Dolby® Digital AC-3 5.1 signals on Bell ExpressVu. Output is through a true fiber optic connection. 

You must have a Dolby*Digital amplifier equipped with a digital audio input and Dolby*Digital decoding  capability. Receivers labeled as "AC-3 Ready" or "Dolby*Digital Ready" often do not have the Dolby* Digital decoding capability and will not handle the new digital audio link.
